Landing Pages & Offers That Sell

You spent money to get the click. Someone tapped your ad, landed on your website — and then met your homepage, with its eight tabs, its "About Us," its gallery, its blog. So they poked around, got distracted, and left. That's the most expensive mistake in small-business marketing: sending paid traffic somewhere it can wander off. The fix is a single page with a single job.

One Page, One Offer, One Action

A landing page isn't your website. It's the one focused page an ad or link sends people to, built to do exactly one thing: turn that click into a call or a booking. No navigation to click away through, no ten services to compare — one strong offer and one obvious next step, repeated.

Sanjay, a Calgary plumber, learned this the hard way before he got it right. His ad used to point at his homepage — eight tabs, everything he does, no clear path. Now it points at a one-page offer: "Fixed $149 Drain Unclog, Same Day," a real photo, two customer reviews, and a big "Book Now" button. The click has exactly one thing it can do. His booking rate climbed without spending an extra dollar on ads, because he stopped leaking the clicks he'd already paid for.

The Four Things a Page That Sells Needs

Strip it down to what actually converts, in order:

Lead with the customer's outcome, not your company name — the dry basement, the same-day fix, the quiet furnace they're actually buying. Prove it's real with a photo of your own work and a review or two from real Alberta customers. Answer the one objection stopping them — the price, the timing, "do you even service my area?" And repeat one button, the same action, top and bottom. That's a page that turns clicks into calls. Everything else is decoration.

Let AI Draft It — But You Own the Promises

Writing this page is exactly what AI is good at. Give it your offer, your town, your outcome, and the top objection you hear, and it'll draft the headline, the proof section, and the button copy in minutes. Ask for a few headline options and pick the one that sounds like you.

Two honest cautions. AI will happily write "Same Day, Guaranteed" — but it doesn't know your schedule, and a promise you can't keep is worse than no promise. You set the offer and the guarantee; it just words them. And it can invent glowing reviews if you let it — never use a testimonial you didn't actually receive. That's not marketing, it's a problem waiting to happen. Use your real reviews, your real photos, your real price.

Build the page once, point every ad and link at it, and stop paying for clicks that go nowhere.
